Nuffield Scholarships are awarded once yearly during the Autumn/Winter period.

Applications are taken in the form of a written submitted application. Application deadlines will be posted at the begining of October.

Candidates who have been succesful with their application will be brought forward for interview where a panel of five will evaluate the suitability of each candidate to be awarded a scholarship.

Five scholars are selected each year to become a member of a worldwide group of agricultures finest thinkers and industry leaders.

Prospective scholars are encouraged to get in contact with a scholar in their locality to prepare themselves for the application and interview process.

Scholars are required to undertake a minimum of 6 weeks of continuous travel.

There are no restrictions on where, how or when a scholar travels.
